It's too bad that a better job wasn't done with the remastering, but I'll still be very happy to own these LP's on CD. I bought copies of the LP's a few years back and had them transferred to CD, and even though the vinyl was like new on all these, they still showed many imperfections. Even without the best remastering on this CD, it would still have to sound better than the discs I made from the LP's. I got a new copy of "A Touch Of Sadness" and some of the songs had a lot of surface noise, which I know is not on the original tapes. It was just a bad vinyl copy. I've yet to receive my copy of the CD because BGO and amazon had two different release dates. BGO claimed it was being released in September and amazon had a release date of October 7th, which was later changed to October 28th. Does anyone know what this is all about? Apparently the CD is already available if some fans already have it...
