Just a quick note re my earlier posting.....while I did mention RCA in my initial comments I should have stated that the label this set is coming out on is simply listed as "import" which could mean anything but they will probably be using RCA masters (perhaps even Abbott) which I believe are now owned by Sony?
As for the 101 that often means entry level,introductory or beginning which might reinforce the idea of 'same old same old'.I note that other CDs will be coming out i.e Pat Boone at about the same time with that number as well which may not mean the number is specific to JR.As well the price is relatively cheap so that probably does not bode well for the content.Speaking of cheap I did buy a brand new JR CD last year in a Florida bookstore for less than ten cents but then again all the songs were the old Abbott cuts.What is that old saying you get what you pay for !
