Today is Mitchell Torok's 80Th Birthday. As we all know it was Mitchell's song "Mexican Joe" that gave Jim Reeves his first big hit. Jim also sang "Down in the Caribbean" but never put it on disc. Another of Mitchell's songs Jim recorded on disc was "Butterfly Love" three great songs I'm sure all Jim Reeves fans would agree! I take this opportunity to wish Mitchell a very happy 80Th birthday and I'm sure all visitors to the Jim Reeves Way will join me in doing so. Regards Colin.
