I was a dee jay at the time and played the Billy Brown version. I remember like it was yesterday opening the package with Jim's version in it. I knew without a doubt it was the right song for him. It was the only time I predicted a record was going to be a big hit without having first listened to it. I never dreamed it would be as big as it was.
