Hey Mike,
Just a very short note re Stu Phillips...born in Montreal,raised in Calgary and still a member of the Grand Ole Opry(I think) Stu lives in the suburbs of Nashvillefrom what I have read.At one point in time he was the owner of a winery and still may be.While in Canada he was known as the "the western gentleman".He had a television show on CBC for close to five years called "The Red River Jamboree".Over the years I have often heard him referred to as the Canadian JR because of his voice.If you google his name I am sure you will find most of his LPs listed...whether they are available as CDs I cannot say (perhaps others i.e. Roy will have some info on this matter).As well he can be seen on You Tube.
