Gary,
Mary had a bunch of those books printed and sold them at the Museum for $1.99 back when I got my first one in 1986. It had a musty smell to it so it quite possibly spent the years 1965-1981 in her basement of her house on Westchester Dr. in Madison TN. What is interesting to note too is there was a second printing of the book which had the famous picture of Jim on the front cover, only in b&w, dressed in the hounds tooth sport coat, similar to the one on the Gentleman Jim LP cover (although that one is in color) and is also on the cover of the latest version of the 2 CD set The Essential Jim Reeves that came out I believe in 2006 on Sony. I have a copy of that book also that I bought on ebay and it was not very expensive either, but I don't rememeer how much I paid for it. It does have some really good b&w pictures in it and some interesting info on Jim's available records in the 1965 time frame.
Regards,
Don
