As a follow-up to Julie's earlier post about Jim being featured on "The Roadhouse" (XM 10 and Sirius 62 I believe)you might wish to consider listening to that channel again this Saturday afternoon when on Bill Anderson's show (Visiting with the Legends-2 pm EST)he talks with Jim Ed Brown and Tom Perryman (Jim's former business partner) about the life and times of JR.This is a very rare opportunity to hear Tom talk about Jim's career (his comment on the reason for Jim singing in a "high voice" during his earlier recordings is priceless in my opinion).That show is repeated on Sunday but I am not certain about the actual time...for that you will have to check their website.As well,earlier on that same day Wade Jessen on his program "The Rear View Mirror" will feature some of Jim's earlier music .That program is on from 7 to 10 am EST and it is repeated on Sunday as well.It deals with the history of country music in general.For all of this programming including what Charlie Munk did earlier this week I believe that we owe a huge vote of thanks to Kyle Cantrell the program director for this music channel. Kyle worked at WSM and the Grand Old Opry in the past if memory serves me correctly and appears to appreciate Jim's place in the world of country music.
