Pursuant to a request by Thomas Sorvik on July the 8th for any information about Blueboy James Kirkland I have re-read some of my files as unorganized as they are and noted that if you go to www.rockabillyhall.com and scroll down to the artists pages on the left hand side and follow that through to the alphabetical listing of the artists in that hall of fame you will find an extensive article on James the former bass player,bus driver and occasional comedian (one of the "lump lump" boys) for JR.It is one of the better summaries of his career (complete with some excellent photos) I have read so far about James. Enjoy !
