Hi All,
There have been a few posts regarding what Jim might have been doing today, had he still been with us. I think you would have to take a look at Jim's colleagues from back when Jim was alive to get a reasonable assumption.
Bill Anderson is one such subject. When Bill was reaching the end of his chart life he went into television, hosting game shows, amongst other things. Eddy Arnold was another. He ended up with a few businesses.
I think today Jim would have been only performing sporadically, (as in Eddy's case), and would have some businesses in the music field, i.e.music publishing. Of course I am only guessing, but at the time of Jim's death he seemed to be heading towards the business end a bit more regularly.
Bear Family would have probably be issuing their third or fourth mammoth box-set by now if Jim was around.
It certainly does get you wondering what might have been.
