Regular visitors to this Fan Forum know that Doris Gath of Minnesota was not only a leading member of Jim Reeves' fan club, but that she and her husband, Elmer, were close friends with Jim and Mary.
So I think it's only fitting to take note of the fact that today is the Gaths' 60th wedding anniversary. Julie, Sara and I still fondly remember when Doris and Elmer visited our home a few years ago. They are both such kind and gracious people -- a real pleasure to know.
So congrats to the Gaths and every good wish!
