Hi Denise --- Just wanted to jump in and echo the words of other members who have welcomed you to our 'family of friends' here on the Jim Reeves fan forum.
I noticed on your March 14th post that you were able to visit Jim's memorial site. How fortunate to be relatively close to such a special place. It has been my life long promise to myself that some day I too will make the journey, and although my wife and I live in eastern Canada, quite a long distance, this is a promise I have to keep.
Just a quick question - You mentioned that a bit of maintance was in order. Could you tell me what your overall impression was on the condition of the grounds ? I know it probably varies what time of year you visit. Any evidence of continued and regular maintenance? I wonder if City Council in Carthage see to it that the grounds are always presentable. I did read some time ago, that from time to time, volunteers help out. Once again, Welcome!!
