Yes, your probably right. It would have been almost impossible to sync the newly discovered master up to the new overdubs. It can be done very easily with todays technology though, although no one at RCA (or whatever it is called these days) would be bothered to do it.
But does this leave the possibility open for the wonderful VM and Larry to maybe remix and overdub this far better master? I hope so. But then, how about replacing the little boy singer with someone from today's generation of 5 to 10 year olds? If so who would be a suitable replacement? Does anyone have anybody in mind?
