I had forgotten that Joyce said her friends from Denmark were going to visit, and I was driving between my home and office one Saturday night recently and was listening to WSM radio. All of a sudden I heard John Connally, who was the guest star on that segment of the Opry, announce the visit of Mogens and Hanne from Denmark! I knew then that Joyce must be in the audience, because she has "connections" to get her friends' names announced on the air. I only listened for about 10 minutes, but thought it ironic that during the brief time I was tuned in, the first thing I heard was the names of the Jensens! (I understand that Jeannie Sealy also mentioned Joyce on the Opry and made a big fuss over her backstage).
We're glad they enjoyed their visit to the U.S. and hope to meet them someday.
