Hi all fan of Jim Reeves around the wold ,Hanne and will like to share our wonderful trip over and visit Joyce and that wonderful trip around in USA Joyce had made for my dear wife Hanne and I.
Joyce pick us up in Denver airport sunday october the 26,th in her new car a nice four wheel Jeep and I could not wait for to be the drive , when we get to Colorado Springs her nice dougther Joy had ¨made us a exelent dinner,we whent to bed and was up very ealy next day for start our tour over to Kentucky we overnigth near St.Louis we had always so much fun when Joyce ,Hanne and I drive together I am the driver ,Hanne is our navigetor and Joyce is our nice Stewardesse so I think you understand , we visit Joyces sister Jane and her husbond Jerry they was so nice and gentle folks and made us a wonderful dinner and we test Jerrys exenlent homemade vine and after we had spent wonderful time we drove futher to visít Peala and Dan ,Peala and Joyce celebreting ther 65 uniwersery friendshib we stay there two days in in Peala and Dans home and what a wonderful hause the had made it bye them self They had bougth a few very old hause and turn them down and use them for the new hause so its a very speciel hause wish we cut bring it with us home to Denmark,we had so nice and good time together with those warm and friendly folk's of couse we test the Kentucky whisky it was very good, there after we visit Joyces brother Jerry and his girlfriend joan,he invit us to his nice farm with a wonderful cabin in the forrest and had made us a exelent dinner with his exelent homemade vine, he took me on a fourwheel drive around his farm a wonderful tour and Lean us to shut with a real sixgun,rifle and shutgun and I most tell Hanne was the best on sixgun.there next we head up for Nashville where we was invitet to stay with Joyces sister Glenda and her husbond Bob they are both so sweet persons we stay there three days and Joyces other sister Marsha and her husbond Stu came over and we had so much fun togther we was so proud and glad our friend the Sherrif from Springfield IL drive all the way down just for say hello to Joyce and us.on saterday nigth Joyce had plan we go to the Grand Ole Opry, Joyces very good friend Seerly Jeannie had put us on the list backstage and as sune we was there we could se all the arstist and member of the Opry know Joyce very weel thye all came over and shake hand and say hello to us , Jean Sherpard,Bill Anderson,Seerly Jeannie, and Coolene he horst the Opry and made a speiel Velcome from the stage to Hanne and me from Copenhagen , we was so proud of it and on the way out we ran into Charlie Dick (Patsy Clines man ) he is so nice and friendly we had a good talk with him and it is so great to hear him make Joyce laughfing.on monday we drive down to Shreveport to visit our dear Lani and her husbond Larry thye took us down to se the new Jim Reeves star on walk of stars in Shreveport it was so grest to se it and we most thank Lani very much for She made that great job for that it came thrue (Thank so very much Dear Lani we drove over to Carthage where we visit Texas Hall of Fame and visit there with our dear friend James Kirkland and his nice wife Joyces very good friend Tommie Ritter Smith invit us in to the museum and we spent a couple of wonderful hour together with her,She is so nice a Lady, then Lani and Larry invit us for dinner in a nice resturant in Carthage and oh I wish you could have being there ,just sit and listning to all the memory Joyce and James had about Jim Reeves and hear James and Larry tell jokes it was so fun, after a good nigth sleep in Lani and Larry beautyful home , we start to drive back up to Joyces sweet home in Colorado Springs over Texas , new Mexico,Okolahoma. we spent the last three days in Joyces wonderful home where we relax play card and we was so proud Joyce let us read in the manuscript to her new book and I can tell we all look forword to read the book its a exelent historie
Then ealy monday nov the 10,th Joyce drive us up to Denver airport and it was time to say goodbye for this time,we all had to say goodbye .and Joyce ,Hanne and I have tears in oue eyes but for sure we will be back again next
year.
Hanne and will also like to Thank Julie and Larry very much , because it was them there bring us in contact to Joyce and of couse we sent a friendly thougt to Jim and Marry up there it's because of him we had meet all those great folk's and have those wonderful friendship
