Larry, my deepest and most sincere sympathy goes out to you on learning of the passing of your Mother. My Mom was the first person to introduce me to Jim's music also, just as your Mom did for you. My Mom passed on in 1976 at age 64 and my Dad in 2004 at age 92, so I certainly know the pain of losing a parent. Again Larry, my sincere condolences go out to you at this sad time.

: Many of you are aware that my husband, Larry
: Jordan, has been taking care of his mother
: Olga, these past years. It is with great
: sadness that I must share the news that Olga
: passed away this afternoon at 4:23 p.m. She
: did so peacefully with Larry holding one of
: her hands and Sara (who had arrived from
: college only moments before) holding the
: other.
:
: Larry was very close to his mother and she
: is the one who first introduced him to Jim
: Reeves music when he was a child, and the
: rest is history. Before she became ill some
: years ago she knew he was writing a book on
: Jim.
:
: I know that Larry has many friends around
: the world that he has made through this Jim
: Reeves forum. If any of you would like to
: send your condolences, you can mail to him

: I am sure Larry will have some things to say
: about this special woman in the near future.
