Many of you are aware that my husband, Larry Jordan, has been taking care of his mother Olga, these past years. It is with great sadness that I must share the news that Olga passed away this afternoon at 4:23 p.m. She did so peacefully with Larry holding one of her hands and Sara (who had arrived from college only moments before) holding the other.
Larry was very close to his mother and she is the one who first introduced him to Jim Reeves music when he was a child, and the rest is history. Before she became ill some years ago she knew he was writing a book on Jim.
I know that Larry has many friends around the world that he has made through this Jim Reeves forum. If any of you would like to send your condolences, you can mail to him as follows:
