It's good to see Jim receive some national publicity for a change. But they never do get it right, do they? There is a caption in a box which overlays part of the photo, which implies it was taken at his last recording session on July 2, 1964. But it was NOT.
Since that image is being sold by a photo agency without a clear caption, the magazine could not possibly have believed it was taken at Jim's last session. But they went ahead and pretended like it was. Tsk tsk tsk.
Actually, that picture is from a series that was snapped during Jim's 1963 tour of Ireland and England. Granted it is rare and most fans have not seen it before, so I am glad it appeared in print.
One other note: they claim Jim had hits for "several years" after his death. They failed to note that he had 34 charted songs over a period of 20 years after his passing. This is unprecedented in the history of recorded music.
