Good Evening,
Just a quick note about this being the 44th anniversary of Jim's last RCA recording session at the famed studio B. Bucks Braun remembered Jim's last session today on the Is Have It by playing the last song he recorded in studio B, I Can't Stop Loving You on his Today In Country Music Feature. Also we are getting ready for the 5th annual Jim Reeves Tribute Show on July 31st and there will hopefully be some pleseant surprises as I have a few novel ideas in mind for this years show that I will be working on in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for further details. The folks at Classic Country Radio in Xenia have a brand new studio right in the middle of town, and it is in a renovated historical building which is in keeping with the type of music they play, it is historical. Bucks is playing the Billboard top 150 Country Music Hits of all time this week and has about 30 to go. Jim had at least 4 in the top 100, but I'm not sure if he had any in the 100-150 part of the countdown. Which leads to another trivia question can you name the 4 songs Jim had in the top 100? Bucks is also having a birthday on Friday, July 4th so if you can please sent him an email birtday greeting at bucks@myclassiccountry.com , I'm sure he would love to hear from all of you.
Regards,
Don
