With all the losses there have been lately of people who who performed in Jim's era, I thought it would be good to pull together the names of some of the ones who are still with us, particularly the ones who are still performing.
First comes to mind is Ray Price. Heard him about 5 or 6 years ago and I was blown away by how good he still was.
Bill Anderson wrote Jim's "I've Enjoyed as Much of This as I Can Stand". He is also still performing.
Others:
Little Jimmy Dickens
Kitty Wells (retired)
I am sure there are more and those of you who regularly hear the Opry may be able to add to the list.
Bob
