Hello,
I was sorry to hear about Eddy Arnold's passing. He was one of the best in country music like Jim and Patsy were. "Cattle Call" is my all time favorite Eddy Arnold song. When we were down in Nashville at Christmasttime, we got to see Brentwood, Tennessee where he sold off a lot of his land so they could build all of those huge mansions and houses around there. That area was very nice. He will be greatly missed by all.

: Nashville radio station WSM announced this
: morning that Eddy Arnold had passed away
: this morning. He would have been 90 on the
: 15th of this month. I had the great fortune
: of being able to speak to him and Sally a
: few times when I would see them at the local
: Cracker Barrel. He was always easy to
: approach and he and his wife were classy
: people. He spoke very highy of Jim Reeves.
: The radio said that he passed away in the
: rehabilitation center he was in recovering
: from his hip surgery. We have lost another
: truly great star.
