Another Huge loss in classic country music. Jim and Eddy were very much alike in so many ways. Both chosing to veer into the new "Nashville Sound" that changed the sound of country music for many. Everytime I have heard him sing or seen Eddy on TV, I think of those pictures of Eddy in that white cap at Jim's plane crash site.
It so tragic that Eddy recently lost his wife in March and then fell and injured his hip.
Leo is being put to rest today, and we lose Eddy Arnold...it is a sad day in the world of music that I cherish.
Rest In Peace Mr. Arnold, you have been reunited with your wife, and for that I know you are once again content.
