Eddy Arnold Has Passed Away

Nashville radio station WSM announced this morning that Eddy Arnold had passed away this morning. He would have been 90 on the 15th of this month. I had the great fortune of being able to speak to him and Sally a few times when I would see them at the local Cracker Barrel. He was always easy to approach and he and his wife were classy people. He spoke very highy of Jim Reeves. The radio said that he passed away in the rehabilitation center he was in recovering from his hip surgery. We have lost another truly great star.
