Hi: Larry, do you have any info that Jim could have run for Governor of Texas? I vaguely remember reading or maybe he told me that he was asked to run for Governor about the time that Jimmie Davis was Governor and Roy Acuff tried. But he said he wasn't interested in politics and declined.
