Mike - I did a quick 'Google' search and did find two movies that Jim's music and singing were part of the movie soundtrack credit. I can't confirm if this info is accurate since I personally have not seen these movies. However, one article states that in the Christmas movie 'Elf' starring Will Ferrell [2005] Jim is heard singing Jingle Bells. The second is a movie called 'The Man Who Fell To Earth' [1976]. However, multiple articles give two different answers. One features Jim singing 'A Fool Such As I' and the other states it was 'Welcome To My World'. For sure I will have to rent these movies and find out myself. Hope this helps a little bit, maybe someone else can add to this. Thanks - Roy

: Yes, Bob, Jim can be heard singing "He'll
: Have To Go" in the movie "Let It
: Ride" starring Richard Dreyfuss. There
: is a scene where Dreyfuss is sitting at a
: bar and Jim's record can be heard coming
: from the jukebox in the background. Jim
: might have been featured in other films as
: well, but if so, I've never come across
: any...and I've seen quite a few films being
: a huge film buff. If anyone knows of any
: other movies Jim can be heard in, I would
: sure like to know which ones...

: Terry,
: It seems to me that there is at least one
: instance of Jim's voice being heard in the
: background of a movie, but I don't remember
: what it is. Does anyone know?

: I don't know if this has been brought up
: before on the forum but I was watching a old
: movie today and I could not but help how
: good the soundtrack would have been with Jim
: Reeves singing the song. I wonder if he
: would have sang on some movies. Does anybody
: have a song from a movie that would have fit
: his style? Just wondering.
