Jay,
Many years ago I sang "Teach Me How to Pray" in my church. It's a wonderful piece of music that I had forgotten about
Trouble is a great number too, although I am not sure what the "verpry's apirvation" is, it works.
Another one to consider is "Suppertime", but I, personally could not get through that one without breaking down.

: I just came home from church, put on XM
: Radio's "Willie's Place" hoping
: for some gospel music and they played the
: above cut of Jim's.
:
: First the message has a real meaning for me
: right now.
:
: Secondly it was good to hear Jim and
: actually hear his name mentioned by a DJ!
: People don't know what they are missing.
: That voice, whether singing or talking,
: could sooth the quills off a porcupine.
:
: Thank you God, again for Jim Reeves.

: Bob, I'm not much of a singer but I was
: considering doing a couple of Jim's
: narrations in our church including Trouble
: in the Amen Corner. Another one which I feel
: would be appropriate for Father's Day would
: be Teach Me to Pray.
: Any Comments?
