I, too am glad to hear that Slim Whitman is still alive and well. I saw him in concert once in Colorado Springs, in the 50s, and also in Pueblo at a night club. Of course he did great both times. I believe it was in Colorado Springs, just before he released Danny Boy, he said he was going to do his latest release as we might never hear it on the radio. Well, as they say, the rest is history. Like someone else mentioned here, he is one of the last legends we have.
