Hi: Right after Jim's"demise" a man came out with"Adios Amigo, Gentleman Jim" on a 45 single. The name eludes me, we have the record at home in MN. It seems like it might have been Hank Cochran. Does anybody know for sure? It is a very sad song, especially hearing it right after Jim was gone. I know I cried listening to it.
Always for Jim, Doris

: Anyone recall Jim's name being mentioned in
: any song other than "Yesterday Once
: More" which Moe Bandy released in 1980.
: I can't recall if any versions of
: "Hillbilly Heaven" ever mentioned
: Jim and right off I don't remember any
: tribute songs released after his death.
