for those of who who may not know, doris gath was a personal friend of jim reeves - and also president of his fan club. i met her quite by accident on another website and soon fell in love with her (i hope her husband doesn't read this - tee-hee!). not only has she gone out of her way to patiently answer all of my inquiries about the man - but she has also been so kind as to encourage me with my own music career. i just wanted to take a moment to give some major props to a beautiful lady: mrs. doris gath! god bless your sweet heart, doris. thank you for your friendship and support - and also for helping to keep the music and memories of jim alive...
