The reason for waiting so long to release "The Image of Me" and "Before You Came Along" may have passed with Mary. When asked that very question, Mary replied the time just hadn't been right or something to that effect. The person who asked her about these songs also said she indicated "Before You Came Along" was one of her favorites. Maybe she just hated to let go of them, since they were obviously very special to her.
