Interestingly Ray Price, who is still performing, only had something like 3 more than Jim. Cash of course blows by all traditional country artists, as you might expect. But I challenge anyone to see if there is some country artist (who has been that long and never got promoted with a movie) who has more downloads than Jim (203). Keep in mind that unlike CD NOW who has a lot of CD listed that are unavailable, this is stuff that is selling, or it wouldn't be there (one would assume.) Bob

This may be an odd way of measuring popularity, but I went to Wal-Mart'c download list of songs by artist, to see where Jim rated with other country music starts of his era.
Jim had more songs than anyone who had been 40 years and had never had a Hollywood movie made of his or her life.
