Did Jim Reeves Have a Temper?

I remember on the Jim Reeves Story that was narrated by Eddy Arnold. At one point they asked some country artists about Jim Reeves. I remember Grandpa Jones saying he knew Jim Reeves had a short temper. Was there some kind of dust up between them that led to this comment?
