Adrian, the two songs that you mentioned, "Mexican Joe" and "Down In The Carribean", are clearly from the same footage that is on a DVD called "Jim Reeves/Ray Price" and is available on amazon.com. I don't know why this footage is in such terrible condition on the DVD you purchased, but on the above mentioned DVD, the qulity is excellent! All the songs on this DVD were filmed between 1954-56 and were apparently from some old country TV show, one that I'm not familiar with. It features 8 songs by Jim, and also features about the same number of songs by Ray Price and Ernest Tubb (although I can't imagine why they left Ernest Tubb's name out of the DVD title). "Down In The Carribean" has never been released on record by Jim, and I've never seen any evidence of it ever having been recorded.
