Posted by JULIE (Webmistress) on 3/10/2006, 7:18 pm Their intent is not only to defame us but also discredit Larry's massive undertaking in writing a book on Jim Reeves. As the date of publication nears, the attacks on us have grown increasingly reckless and shrill in their unfounded allegations. They are no longer even being clever about their lies, but lying rather awkwardly. What I have done is created a SEPARATE PAGE where our responses will be posted. You will be able to access it from this link. That way, if you read something about us elsewhere on the web that bothers you, and you want to know our side of the story, you can come here and click the link and go to a separate part of my site to read it. But those who are ONLY interested in Jim Reeves -- and I hope that accounts for most of you -- won't have to see any negative references on the Fan Forum. I was the first to establish a place where Jim's fans could gather and share information on our favorite singer, and I sincerely apologize to my website visitors for our having allowed ourselves to be distracted now and then and drawn into futile arguments with idiots. We won't reply to all the crazy posts, but we will occasionally respond to some of them. But only on the separate page. We have called it the "ANTI-B.S. PAGE." -- Julie

After being the victims for the past several years of an unrelenting and obsessive smear campaign by a few disturbed individuals, we have decided that neither Larry nor I will reply on this Fan Forum to any of their attacks, no matter how provocative.
