Perhaps 10-15 years ago I saw a film about a young Jewish couple who moved to New York City (Brooklyn) where the man was studying the Talmud intensely, putting all his energy in his spiritual development. He neglected his wife, who was basically raped by a relative and with whom she became involved. She ends up leaving her husband and his orthodox culture. Does this ring any bells? I'm interested in possibly using it for a course. Thanks,
