i'm looking for 2 tv broudcast from year 1947, NY, of "hapoel tel aviv", palestine, soccer team international tour maching america all-star.
2 of the games were televised:
4th May, 1947: at the yankee stadium - Hapoel tel aviv, palestine vs NY stars
53,000 tickets were sold
17th June, 1947: at abbets field, brooklyn, NY - Hapoel tel aviv vs american league stars.
a sport reporter in an article: "...the highlight of the year was the visit by Hapoel of tel aviv, palestine, which broke all-time attendance records and completed the first coast-tocoast tour by a visiting foreign team." and allso: "this tour also featured possibly the first ever televised US sovver matches..." (Dave Litterer, article: the year in american soccer-1947).
I will appriciate any lead to those broudcasts.
