I will happily agree with all of your points except where you say that Wicca was not created by gerald gardner. In fact, he is the creator of Wicca. He put what we know of as Wicca together out of bits and pieces of existing magical paths including ceremonial magic, Masonic rituals, the writings of Murray and Leland, and the things he learned from the coven (not Wiccan) in which he claims to have been initiated. All other Wiccan practices descend from gardner's teaachings and writings.
