So let's look at it another way. Let's consider bad magick no different than any other form of action that is harmful to others. Say this guy is a thief. Say this guy liked to beat up other people or do mean things to them. What would your answers be to your questions in that case? Hexing or cursing someone (which is what most people think of as black magick) is really no different than attacking them physically. Same ethics, same consequences. Would you really want to spend time with someone who does that? And do you really want to hang around someone if you feel that they might hurt you if you didn't take steps to protect yourself? I suspect that you already know what is right in this situation. Hope I have helped you look at things in a way that makes your choice a little clearer. -Lark-
