That is a common misconception and has nothing to do with one's affinity to the various Elements. The star sign may represent an Element, but it does not mean that we are an Element. The idea in Witchcraft or Wicca is to have all five of the Elements in balance within us. The idea that each of us IS an Element and that you therefore have to have four people to cast a circle or do any magical workings is a piece of fiction straight out of the movie "The Craft". -Lark-
