Plus it kinda makes more sense to me, because i mean spring is when everything comes back to life and things are born and stuff. And of course when persephone comes back from the underworld nd all.

Well, its actually a pagan thing, and i kind of incorporate roman, egyptian and celctic beliefs in the my faith as well.
