Truly I am not one of the ones who thinks that teens cannot be sincere about their beliefs, or that they can't understand exactly what they are doing when they chose to follow this path. I have met some teens that know more and are more mature than some of the adults we know. But Violet Sun came on this board where I've been trying to help people for a number of years and verbally attacked me and called me 'mean' and 'hurtful'. And then when I tried to explain to her what my background was so she could understand where I was coming from, she tried to claim that she was as old and experienced as I was. I simply refuted that, and I used that example because her posting style was like a lot of the young people I see on the boards. It isn't a slam at all young people, it was simply a response to someone who was not acting like a mature individual. In retrospect, I probably should just have ignored her post and let it go. We all have our bad days. In any event, she has left the board so the issue is pretty much over. I hope that you won't think too badly of me. -Lark-
