The reason Rusty had to take start so deep in feild was because he blew a motor during the 2nd morning practice. Someone left the belt off the oil pump. Once the race started Rusty was slowly and safely working his way up. At the time of the wreck he was running lap times as fast as the leaders and he was in traffic. Steven wasn't able to bring a car to race so he was Rusty's crew chief instead. Talked to Steven and he said he was still working on sponsorship for the Iowa Nationwide race. Even with Rusty wrecking it was still worth every dollar I spent to see the man again.
