How sad it has come to this....I probably need to do a facebook page myself but haven't had the heart. Remember Mike, when when first connected so many of our group on ICQ? How far has the "net" come. I don't come here very often either...but I try to check in occasionally. I miss the old times and excitement we had before every race day prior to 2006.
I'm going to the Daytona races this year for the first time in a long time. I'll be interested to see what the new track surface brings to the race. And I'm interested in the new rules. I'm glad to know RUSTY (Steven) has a car in the 500 and Nationwide and the Wallace boys may be in the mix this year as well. Still the luster of the "old days" are gone! Time marches on!
I have spring ticket for Bristol if anyone is interested. If not, I may make make that race myself. I'm still happy to know this site remains, if only a shell of it's former self. As always
I'm a RUSTY4EverFan...aka NewTwoFan...I do miss that name and those days. I can't like the #2 car right now with it's new driver any more than when when Bush took it over; but maybe one day I can wear the #2 with pride again... In my mind it is still RUSTY's car! If they ever get I driver I can support I'll be glad to get back on the #2 bandwagon.
