UPDATE: Rusty Wallace Racing has made no commitment to a specific manufacturer for the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series season. Any rumors otherwise are false. Further, the team plans no unusual turnover or reduction in its vehicle fleet within the next year. RWR greatly appreciates the support of General Motors. The team remains completely committed to its immediate goals of putting Steve Wallace among the top-five in the 2010 year-end driver standings and Brendan Gaughan among the top-ten, in their respective Chevrolet Impala SS racing vehicles.(RWI PR)
UPDATE 2: Rusty Wallace, Inc., driver Brendan Gaughan told Sirius NASCAR Radio's Sirius Speedway Thursday that to his knowledge, no decision has been made about the team's manufacturer affiliation for 2010. "We have talked and listened to just about all the manufacturers; not just Chevy and Toyota," he said. "Honestly, there are pros and cons to each of them. No announcement has been made, and I don't think one is imminent. I don't know if a decision has even been made yet, and if there has, I haven't heard about it. But either way, I'm confident that it's going to be okay." (Sirius NASCAR Radio)(9-17-2009)
