Posted by jamieque I think Spyro has been treated rather poorly as a video game character and that is a real shame. There is so much potential that has never been fully used or taken advantage of. Universal sucks as the owner of Spyro. They have, like you said Jekkal, made him age backwards and that is counterproductive. If they want this wonderful character to live on then they better start giving this character the development he rightfully deserves. I think the fanbase is starting to get irritated with UV.

I agree with you on that, Jekkal. I am aging Spyro in my Dragon of Destiny series too. I decided to make him more a young adult then older teenager though. I have tried to treat the original game storyline as just a skeleton and give it some flesh. In other words, I am basically revamping Spyro and his friends, new and old, and bringing them truly up to date.
