Posted by Charles Frost The battle itself takes some rather interesting twists this way, mostly due to the restrictions, whether righteous or not. Having the 'Hero' win constantly would just make things seem monotonous and or boring, predictive anyway. I have to admit though that I felt the last attack to be quite low, but then again, effective anyway. Unexpected to say at least. I don't see shadow as the evil dragon you apparently describe him as. The difference between the two is just too large, I guess, and both seem to have difficulties understanding one another. I guess that Shadow in some way could be jealous towards Prime, mostly due to his supperiority in strength, but since Shadow has the intelligence advantage, he kinds of likes to show that at times. The tension between the two had allready been building from the moment Shadow explained about the ADC, and the flaming itself, from my point of view wasn't really intensional, just some impulse at the time, something not worth repeating. Ah well, anyway, I could very well be starting to speak nonsense, so I'll stop. This is merely part of my interpretation, however Jekkal might be of more use here...

Hmm, I can't say I agree with the fighting scene. It does happen to be so that Prime has the advantage, but the fact that Shadow wasn't able to use his hind feet perfectly yet, doesn't mean he was trained less, but perhaps in a different way. Besides Shadow did manage to fight using merely his hind legs as support during the match.
