Posted by HapoPervasion on 5/18/2005, 4:57 pm http://ps2.ign.com/objects/737/737570.html For those of you who've been living in a cave, this one features Ratchet, with Clank playing a more minor part this time around. Ratchet fights bad guys, jumps in huge vehicles, and has some really, REALLY customizable features this time around: the weapons, while there are only ten this time, can be modded much more heavily than in previous games, up to the point in which no two gamers' weapons are alike. Ratchet's 'bot allies are also customizable to suit the player's tastes. Next up we have a DS version of Spyro. http://www.nintendo.com/gamemini?gameid=b0cebec4-a64e-4a2c-8c63-c55efeefdbe1& This one's apparently an action-RPG, with Spyro using magic and collecting little allies. Sounds too Pokemon-ish to me, but we'll just have to see. The game has Spyro using magic by having the user draw symbols on the screen - not exactly revolutionary, but still, I think, a pretty good use of the touch screen if they pull it off right. The screenshots look quite beautiful, and if you look at the last screen, it also looks like there's a bit of 3D-ness going on there. Okay, normally about now would be the time to mention the Spyro console game. After all, Insomniac only makes one game at a time, right? http://ps3.ign.com/articles/614/614938p1.html Yeah, I know. Completely out of left field. The game looks amazing, and of course, it being made by Insomniac, is sure to kick ass. Not really much has been revealed here, though, but who cares? I mean, just freaking LOOK at this game.

Looks like Insomniac fans are seeing not one, not two, but THREE sweet surprises at this year's E3. The first is, of course, Ratchet: Deadlocked.
