I think the "owl" you are looking at is Captain Spyro's old sidekick, Darwin. I don't even remember you being around when the picture is made, or at least actively posting.
Oh, and don't take yourself too badly, I bet I was the most annoying poster on this board not counting Jessie. I was only 10 (11?) when I first got here in 2001, and this was the first internet board I had ever been on. Reading back at some of my older posts, I feel I want to strangle my little shota self's brains out. Like you, I wanted so much to be a member of this board. I wanted Jekkal's writing talent, Saya and Drakena's concepts of Demons and Mutants, and Hapoppo's comedic genius.
I suppose I was only a preteen for most of my stay. And it's not like I tried to be obnoxious, either. I think I was a little bit mature for my age, seeing how most other twelve year olds with a computer would just do something stupid like fill a post entirely with about a hundred rolling toilet paper animated GIF's.
