James Buckland

Does anyone have any information on James Alfred Buckland who was born on the Island in 1887? He does not appear on Census of 1891 apparently, although he was on the island in 1906 again when he got married, and his son Frederick James was born there in 1907 at 11 Millgan Rd in Ryde.
If anyone can help I would be extremely grateful.
