Does anyone have grandparents who may have known my grandmother's brother, Theodore Drudge, of Ashley Terrace, Newport Road, Upper Ventnor? He was born in 1883, joined up in 1916 as a Private with the Royal Berks regiment, and died in the Great War 1917 at Passchendaele.. He worked as a carpenter at Gustars, the furniture store in Ventnor, was a memeber of St Catherine Church choir, a volunteer fireman,a member of the Rechabites, was married to Edith and had one son, Harry Drudge (my mother's late cousin).
