Posted by Bruce Jamieson George Fisher was the father of Frederick Charles Fisher (born around 1770) and either George Fisher and/or his son Frederick Charles, imigrated to Kingston, Jamaica in the mid to late 1700's. In Kingston, Jamaica, Frederick Charles Fisher in 1890(at age 20) married Rebecca Amelia Henriques (age 19). We would be very interested in corresponding with anyone who has information pertaining to the Fisher family on the Isle of Wight.

George Fisher my GG grandfather....we believe was born between 1730-1754 and was born or lived on the Isle of Wight. We believe he was Scot Presbyterian but may be mistaken.
